Abstract

Višeslojna ambalaža svrstava se u posebnu kategoriju otpada. Načinjena je od više različitih materijala koji se ne mogu ručno odvojiti. Veliki problem ovakve ambalaže jest njezino gospodarenje zbog male količine postrojenja za njezinu obradu. Osim toga, višeslojna ambalaža predstavlja velike probleme kako za društvo tako i za okoliš radi svog sastava, ali i radi svoje upotrebe. Za obradu otpadne višeslojne ambalaže sve češće se istražuju i dobivaju novi načini i tehnologije za obradu, a najvažnije je kako dobiveni materijal nakon obrade što bolje iskoristiti. Reverzibilno umrežavanje adheziva, obrada pomoću pirolize i izmjenjujućeg otapala samo su neke od tehnologija koji se koriste prilikom obrade otpadne višeslojne ambalaže. Cilj svake tehnologije jest da se otpadna višeslojna ambalaža rastavi na pojedinačne sastavnice od kojih se naknadno dobivaju drugi korisni materijali ili da se dobivena sastavnica ponovno koristi za istu svrhu.

Abstract (english)

Multilayer packaging belongs to a special category of waste. It is made of several different materials that cannot be separated by hand. A big problem with this type of packaging is its management due to a small number of industrial plants for its processing. In addition to this, multi-layered packaging poses major problems for both the society and the environment due to its composition but also due to its use. Researchers are looking for new methods and technologies for the processing of waste multilayer packaging, and the most important thing is how to make the best use of the material which is obtained after processing. Reversible crosslinking of adhesives, use of pyrolysis and solvents are some of the technologies employed in the treatment of waste multilayer packaging. The goal of each technology is to break down waste multilayer packaging into individual components from which other useful materials can be subsequently obtained or to reuse the obtained component for the same purpose.
