Abstract

Plastični materijali, odnosno polimeri neizostavan su dio života danas. Plastika kao materijal ima široku upotrebu u skoro svim djelatnostima. Problem nastaje kada se otpadna plastika pravilno ne reciklira te kada nema dostupne infrastrukture za njenu oporabu i pravilno odlaganje. NR Kina je već desetljećima bila glavni uvoznik plastičnog otpada te su sve zemlje svijeta svoj otpad izvozile upravo tamo. Od 01.01.2018. godine NR Kina je zabranila uvoz 24 vrste različitog otpada u svoju zemlju, čime je došlo do panike na svjetskom tržištu plastičnog otpada, a samim time i potragom za drugim zemljama u koje bi ostale države svijeta slale svoj plastični otpad.

Abstract (english)

Plastic materials or polymers are an indispensable part of today`s life. Plastic as a material is widely used in almost all industries. The problem arises when waste plastic is not recycled properly and when there is no infrastructure available for its recovery and proper disposal. The PR China has been a major importer of plastic waste for decades, and all the world’s biggest countries have exported their waste there. From 1st January 2018 China banned the import of 24 various types of waste in the country, which caused panic on the world market for plastic waste, and thus launched a search for other countries where the biggest exporters could send their plastic waste.
