Abstract

Zbog sve većeg negativnog antropogenog utjecaja na ekosustave potrebne su nove strategije za očuvanje istih. Usluge ekosustava su relativno novi pojam i prvi konkretni koraci ka primjeni istih su nastali 1977 godine. Sam proces procjene usluga ekosustava je vrlo složen zbog opsežnosti i složenosti prirodnih ekosustava i još uvijek nedovoljnog broja terenskih podataka. Jedan od načina klasifikacije usluga ekosustava koji je primijenjen i u Hrvatskoj je klasifikacija na tri osnovne usluge: usluge opskrbe, usluge regulacije, kulturološke usluge. Cilj usluga ekosustava je kartiranje i bolja analiza stanja ekosustava, procjena ekonomske vrijednosti ekosustava, poticanje različitih znanstvenih disciplina na suradnju u svrhu očuvanja usluga ekosustava, poboljšanje stanja ekosustava i njihovih usluga i podizanje razine znanja o zaštiti prirode i uslugama ekosustava. Aktualna strategija i akcijski plan zaštite prirode Republike Hrvatske za razdoblje od 2017. do 2025. godine naglašava kako je kartiranje usluga ekosustava od izuzetne važnosti.

Abstract (english)

Due to the growing negative anthropogenic impact on ecosystems, new strategies are needed to preserve them. Ecosystem services are a relatively new concept and the first concrete steps towards their implementation were made in 1977. The process of assessing ecosystem services itself is very complex due to the extent and complexity of natural ecosystem and the still insufficient amount od df field data. One of the ways of classifying ecosystem services that has been applied in Croatia is the classification into three basic types: supply, regulation, cultural. The goal of ecosystem services is to map and better analyse the state of ecosystems, assess the economic value of ecosystem, encourage various scientific disciplines to cooperate in order to preserve ecosystem services, improve ecosystems and their services and raise knowledge about nature protection and ecosystem services. The current strategy and action plan for nature protection of the Republic of Croatia for the period from 2017 to 2025 emphasizes that mapping ecosystem services is extremely important.
