Abstract

Odlagalište otpada namijenjeno je odlaganju otpada na površini ili ispod površine zemlje.
Odlagalište otpada još je uvijek glavni način zbrinjavanja otpada. Procjena rizika je
formalni proces evaluacije posljedica opasnosti i vjerojatnosti da će doći do nesreće koja
će rezultirati posljedicama. Procjena rizika najčešće obuhvaća četiri faze: identifikaciju
opasnosti po okoliš, procjenu posljedica koje one mogu prouzročiti, procjenu
vjerojatnosti da će doći do nesreće s posljedicama te procjenu rizika. U ovom radu opisuje
se odlagalište komunalnog otpada „Totovec“ koje se nalazi u blizini grada Čakovca.
Opisane su trenutne i buduće meteorološke i klimatske značajke, kao što su klima,
kvaliteta zraka, voda, tlo, buka i nesreće te njihov utjecaj na odlagalište komunalnog
otpada „Totovec“. Cilj diplomskog rada je prikazat procjenu rizika po okoliš na
odlagalištu komunalnog otpada „Totovec“ te koji će faktor najviše utjecati na okoliš.

Abstract (english)

Landfills are used for the disposal of waste either above or under the surface of the Earth
and they are still the main way of waste disposal. Risk assessment is a formal process of
evaluation of the consequences of a dangerous situation and probability of an accident
resulting in consequences. Risk assessment usually consists of four phases: identification
of environmental hazards, assessment of the consequences of these hazards, assessment
of the likelihood of an accident resulting in consequences and risk assessment. This paper
describes the municipal waste landfill “Totovec”, which is located near the town of
Čakovec. It describes current and future meteorological and climatic features, such as,
air quality, water, soil, noise and aquatic situations and their effect on the the municipal
waste landfill “Totovec”. The aim of the graduation thesis is to present environmental
risk assessment at the municipal waste disposal site “Totovec” and factors which will
have the greatest impact on the environment.
